2024 has been a year of expansion for Montfort Brain Monitor, broadening our operations in the United States, and starting new ones in Italy, Netherlands, Hong Kong and even Mozambique, Africa, reaching new patients every day.
It was a year when we started testing patients suffering from rare conditions such as Myasthenia Gravis and Wolfram Syndrome, and validating our capabilities for Multiple Sclerosis. We screened Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus patients at Johns Hopkins Hospital and remotely, tested the effect of an innovative vagus stimulation on PD patients, expanded our cognitive test battery and, together with Wingate Institute, delivered a personalized training program for older adults, improving their balance, strength, and flexibility. We took part in the MDS conference in Philadelphia, the Academy of Neurology (AAN) annual meeting in Denver, and finally the Medica Medicine & Sports Conference in Düsseldorf, where our clients’ work was presented.
It was a challenging year for the State of Israel, and we continue to hold the hostages in our minds and the soldiers who fight for our safety each and every day. At the end of this year, we were saddened by the sudden passing of Mon4t’s longtime advisor, Professor Nir Giladi. Giladi played a leading role in the development and evaluation of Mon4t’s gait assessments. The tests that we developed together have already been used over 25,000 times. We will strive to make sure that this expands further, and his insight continues to benefit patients around the world.
Looking through an optimistic lens into 2025, Mon4t will continue to deliver our products globally, supporting clinical trials and patient care management, supporting the millions of people experiencing neurological and psychiatric conditions.
