Screening / Early Detection

Early detection is key for health insurance companies by reducing costs, improving health outcomes, and supporting long-term financial performance:

  • When a disease or condition is caught early, it is often easier and less expensive to treat, which can result in lower claims costs for the insurance company.
  • Early detection can help to improve the overall health and well-being of patients, which can lead to fewer medical complications and better long-term outcomes.
  • When identifying and addressing health issues early on, insurance companies can improve the health of their policyholders, which can help to attract and retain customers
  • Early detection and prevention can help insurance companies to identify and manage high-risk individuals and groups, which can help to control costs and improve the overall financial performance of the company.

Mon4t provides a large-scale solution, allowing screening of typical neurological symptoms within minutes at the comfort of the insured user’s home. Using our big-data, we flag results which exceed the norms, and offer the means for a more thorough and personalized assessment.

Mon4t offers an end-to-end screening process providing preliminary motor and cognitive assessment for payers and providers.

The screening process is conducted in two phases and can be adapted based on the provider’s unique needs:

  • Phase 1: A call center sends an email or a text message to targeted insured clients (based on age, or other risk factors), the message contains a link. The link installs an app with standard motor and cognitive tests, including instructions in the language preferred by the user. The app manages the test protocol which lasts a couple of minutes and uses the smartphone integral sensors to capture the data (no extra hardware is needed). The call center receives a report flagging users with abnormal results, based upon age and gender norms.
  • Phase 2: For flagged users, a personalized in-depth test protocol is sent, providing a detailed report for the particular risk factors.

How it works

1

Call center sends a link to insured users at risk

2

Users download an app & perform various tests according to protocol

3

A report is being generated for users at risk

The detailed report may lead to a clinical visit, tele-visit, and can be further used as a baseline for future Remote Patient Monitoring.
